ISCNY Reads! is a weekly reading program for children.

Reading is a foundational teaching of our Deen. Let your children benefit from this noble program.

Organized with the help of academic experts in children reading and literacy, ISCNY Reads! is a reading program for children where:

Children expand their intellectual horizon, fun socializing with peers, and practice Islam in the House of Allah. All at the same time!

Kids read and discuss English books (with Muslim characters as much as possible).

The program encourages kids to read, discuss and socialize in a setting that recognizes and celebrates their identity as Muslim kids.

Venue: ISCNY Masjid, 925 Comstock Ave Syracuse, NY 13210

Who can join: The program is available to 4 age groups:
Group A: 4--6 years old
Group B: 7--9 years old
Group C: 10-11 years old
Group D: 12-14 years old

Time: Every Friday, 5:00 PM--6:00 PM, plus Maghrib prayer.
First day of event: October 21, 2022
Last day of event: December 9, 2022

Registration fee: $30 per child

Fee waiver for financial reasons possible, depending on availability of funds. The fee helps cover the cost of running this program (e.g., purchase of books and children "gifts").

Registration is based on first-come-first-serve. Space is limited.
